Ten Seas and Rock Islands

So this trip took a total of a week from planning to completion, that in itself amazes me; and inspires me to no end. The fact that me and my friends can say "lets go here, do this, and do this, for under 200 bucks" and that will take us to just about anywhere in the country and leave us with memories that'll last a life time. This was no different, the 7 hour drive from Columbus to Chattanooga was not bad and filled with laughs and sights. Once there we were humbled by the great food and helpful people that pointed us in the right direction of our rock induced craze. A particular man that I dont remember the name of had a vibrant tattoo of a Koi that to be honest i kind of fell in love with.

An awesome dude that helped us work on a bouldering problem called Super Mario Bros located in Little Rock City, a giant boulderfield on a mountain just outside of Chattanooga. The climbing coupled with a good friend and beautiful sights (including the river off the side of the Montlake Properties).

I wont forget this place, mark my words.

As far as the non-climbing times, we captured some of that aswell. We stayed on a boat on the Chickamauga River, the 100+ year old paddle vessel aptly named "The Delta Queen" which certainly lived up to her name with grandour wooden railings and beautiful craftsmanship. The rooms were like a 5x7 shoebox but were plenty big enough for our needs.
We saw the sites, the city itself is beautiful and full of vigor, though a complete ghost-town on Sunday night.
